My braces are off!!!!

Freedom!!!!

I'm short.... Just so everyone knows that I know this.

I'm short when a 15 year old comes up to me and jokes around
with me and says "I'm taller then you!".....

WHATEVER!

Okay, 18 Days to go until my braces are removed!! And things continue to get better!!
I’ll be starting school again on the 13th with a new car and without braces!! Woohoo!!
I just went and put down the deposit required on my new 2006 Toyota Corolla Sport!

It’s right now on a train, but once it is taken off the train, it will be trucked down
here to Olathe Toyota where I will then be called to come pick it up.

It’s Phantom grey color (very nice) with front bottom spoiler, rear top, and bottom
spoilers, as well as bottom side spoilers. It is a manual (5speed) with nice colored
seats, CD player, electric locks and windows, remote keyless entry, alarm,
tinted windows, alloy wheels, and best of all it gets 41mpg!! and 0 miles on it!!!
I seem to think I got a great deal, but I guess we’ll see when it actually makes it down
here to
Olathe. The awesome thing is that the car comes with lifetime car washes at
Olathe Toyota (5min from my work) and I won’t have to follow any warranty
maintenance schedule in order to obtain those free car washes.. I could go for a free
car wash everyday! Usually I pay $12 for a good car wash, but now it’ll be free!!! YES!!

Gosh, the news keeps getting better… I’ve been offered the job here at Sprint, so
I’ve already filled out the employment form, just waiting to hear my start date. It may
be a few weeks… I requested $35,000 on my application, so I don’t know if this means
I’m getting it, or if we’re gonna negotiate. We’ll see.. Regardless of that, it means that
I’m going to be getting full benefits! (I’m only a contractor right now)
Not only is that great news, but they’re in the talks now about doing back-pay for
all of the contractors who are making less money than the new contractors, so
perhaps I’ll be receiving a big ol’ fat check!

So praise God, this is the year of reward!!

**TUESDAY MORNING UPDATE!**

I just found out from my insurance company that full coverage insurance
will be a lot lower than I thought! I thought it would be around $130,
but it's only going to be $68.97, and then will drop lower when I turn
25 in August!! Thank God for a clean driving record for the past 10 years!

21 Days left until my braces come off!!

I have an update, for all the hundreds of people who read my xanga.
Actually, it's just for anyone who may be interested to know.

I went to the dealership tonight and come closer to closing the deal
for this brand spankin' new 2007 Toyota Corolla Sport.
Their price after negotiating with them ended up being $15,750
for this car which is about $17,000. After negotiating and even being
a pain in the butt, I got them to give me 4.9% financing!!!!
This is awesome, considering the other toyota dealership was only
giving me 6.9% on a car which was originally $3,000 cheaper...
The only thing is that the car I want with all the specific features was
just released from the assembly line with 0 miles and is setting on a
freight train out in Kansas waiting to be shipped to some dealer in the
4 state region.. meaning I'm planning on going and putting a deposit
down on the car tomorrow so that when the car arrives it will be
delivered to this dealership near me. I'm so excited that I'll be driving it
off the lot at 0 miles.

The monthly payment wasn't  as low as what we were discussing the
day prior without actual figures (you know how they do) but it's still a
pretty good deal and I don't think I can get them to go any lower..
They were very frustrated because I was being difficult with them. haha
I had fun! To see a picture of the car if you haven't already, you can scroll
down.  I'm gonna probably end up going today or tomorrow put down
the deposit and will probably end up trying to get them down lower.

23 Days left until my braces are removed!!

Okay, so thats exciting, but now I'm searching for the "right" type of car...
I went and test drove the new Toyota Yaris and it drives awesome and
looks sweet, but the seats aren't relaly that comfortable... They're boxy.
Not only that, but don't trust online payment calculators -ever!
The dealership calculated my payement with lower percentage rate than
online, and it came out with monthly payments of $290 :-O What???
If the seats were comfortable and it looked a bit better on the inside,
I could see paying $290 a month, but for $290 a month I could get a
Toyota Corolla Sport (stick shift) which I just took for a test drive.
It's really nice on the inside with a cool instrument panel and a CD
player and electronic everything, and also very comfortable seats.
It gets 41miles per gallong on gas, and my current car gets 19mpg..
I did awesome negotiations with the car salesman and even told him
about World Revival church. He's brought the price from about
$17,500, down to $15,500.   Wahooo!!!! Stay tuned! I'm not gonna
let him up the price from what we've already negotiated...
Even if payments are $290 a month, I'll already be saving $200 on
gas a month, which will go to the payment, and all I'll have to do is
dish out an extra $90 a month which isn't a big deal, especially if
I'll cut back on my cell phone plan.
